Master Club News
Newsletter - Aug/Sept 2008
Calling all clubbers! There seems to be something really big just around the comer, heading your way!! You can't run; you can't hide (why would you want to?) No, it's not a giant hippopotamus! It's Master Club! and another exciting year packed with great Bible studies, and fun Bible quizzing games. You'll learn about Jesus, and why He died for you, and that His love is greater than anyone else's in the world. You'll learn more about the Bible that He left for us to read, and all the interesting and fascinating things He has to teach us.
The First Day is Wednesday, September 3rd!! You don't want to miss it! Remember that we'll meet every Wednesday night, at 6:30 p.m.
The schedule follows your school schedule, so watch carefully. If your school lets out for a week-long holiday, we will not meet for Master Clubs that week. Don't worry, we'll remind you.
We're excited and ready to start! Hope to see you there!!

Newsletter - June 2008
Alright Clubbers, it looks like it's that time of year again... Master Club is finishing up for the summer, and my goodness, what an exciting year it's been! Two young girls were saved this past month, isn't that exciting? Like the rest of us who have put our faith in the Lord Jesus, they too will live in Heaven with Jesus someday! Praise the Lord for that! That's the reason, boy and girls, that we have Master Club. We want every boy and girl to know that Jesus came to this earth to save their soul, if they will just trust in Him. The Bible says, "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9) These young girls did just that - they confessed that Jesus is God who came to the earth to save us from our awful sin, and they asked Him to save their souls, believing that He would. If you haven't ever done that, you need to do so. Jesus wants to come and live in your heart just like He is now living in the hearts of these girls.
We also thank the Lord for all the lessons we learned this past year. Some of us learned how to be better ambassadors (representatives) for Christ; some of us learned that we're precious in God's sight, no matter how small we are. We are "fearfully and wonderfully made," and God delights in His children. We need to show our love for one another, and let the world know that God loves them too. We should keep these lessons in our hearts over the summer, and come back in the fall ready to learn more about God and His Word!
From our small classrooms to the regional competition in Tennessee and the many stops and activities along the way, thank you, Clubbers for making it a great year! We all had a lot of fun, ate a lot of candy, played a lot of games, and are plum worn out! Don't forget about the different events going on this summer... we look forward to seeing all of you there and please bring a friend! Until next year, keep God's Word in your hearts; trust Him with everything you do. Take care, and God bless each and every one of you!
