Jimmy Wayne Bowyer, 37, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, in Myrtle Beach.
Born March 7, 1969, at Maple Fork, he was the son of Eugene Edward Bowyer Sr. of Beckley and the late Claudine Faye Ison Bowyer and he is the stepson of Jessie Bowyer of Beckley.
He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, a member of the Packs Branch Baptist Church and a former member of the MacDonald-Warren Lodge No. 103 AF and AM of Mount Hope.
He was customer sales representative for an electrical company in Myrtle Beach SC.
Other survivors include his children, Erick Bowyer and Alysa Bowyer, both of Oak Hill; two brothers, Eugene Bowyer Jr. and wife, Delores, of Huntington and David Alan Bowyer and wife, Patricia, of Beckley; three stepsisters, Margaret Hay and husband, Phillip, of Lebanon, Pa., Nancy Cummings and husband, Greg, of Vale, N.C., and Lisa Snavely and husband, Tom, of Lebanon, Pa.; and a stepbrother, James Brooks and wife, Carol, of Rock Hill, S.C.
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope, with Pastor Sam Vance and Evangelist Dale Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Greg McNeely, John Bryson, Ed Holstein, Bob Bowyer, George Tyree and James Withrow.
