Rachael Ann Vance, 48, of Bradley/Mt. Hope, died peacefully Tuesday morning, November 15, 2022, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, with her loving family at her side. Born May 28, 1974, in Princeton, she was the daughter of James and Helen Wert Akers. Rachael was a graduate of Mercer Christian Academy in Princeton and Crown College in Powell TN. She was a member of Packs Baptist Church, in Mt. Hope. Rachael was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother and sister. She was a faithful and devoted Christian, supporting her husband Dale in all aspects of his ministries. Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents Jim and Helen, her devoted husband of 28 years, Samuel Dale Vance; One daughter of whom she was so proud, Adalee Mae Vance; One sister, Vicki Marie Covey (Dave); Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Samuel Graham Vance and Delma Ann Vance; Sister-in-law, Stacie Young (Allan). Services to celebrate the homegoing for Rachael will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Maranatha Baptist Church on the Oakvale Road in Princeton with Pastors Eric Davis, Brian McBride, Joe Arthur and John Smith officiating. Burial will be on Saturday, at 10:00 A.M. at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley. Those attending the services are requested to meet at the cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 4:00 P.M. until the service hour at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Isaac and Michael Young, Kevin (KJ) Akers, John Covey, Buddy Wert and Jerry Wayne Bowyer. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com.
