WELCOME TO PACKS BRANCH BAPTIST CHURCH
October 27, 2024
ERIC DAVIS, PASTOR
It is a blessing to share this Lord’s Day with you and we are glad you chose to wor-ship with us. For those visiting, we are honored to have you. Please fill out a “Visitor’s Card” located in the pew and place it in the offering plate later in the ser-vice. If you do not have a home church, please join us tonight and this week in our services. Thank you for coming!
It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

An Old Farmer’s Advice
Words that soak into your ears are whispered, not yelled.
Forgive your enemies. It messes up their heads.
It don’t take a very big person to carry a grudge.
Every path has a few puddles.
Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty.
The Sun Shines Through
The world is full of sunshine
For those who try to find it.
It may be in the open sky
Or hiding close behind it.
It may be in a sickroom,
An alley or a hall,
Or in the conversation
Of friends who come to call.
It lingers in a letter;
It flies across the sea;
And it is held in every hand
That offers sympathy.
It is a pass for happiness
That’s good in any season;
It needs no introduction,
Or any special reason.
It is a part of giving—
The greeting of a friend—
It goes with love and laughter,
And dreams that never end
The person who has the right to boast, doesn’t have to.
Happy is the person who walks so close to God that he leaves no room for the devil.
If you’re right with God, you’ll want to be right with others.
