Dolly Lambert, 87, of Mt. Hope, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
She peacefully passed away at Bowers Hospice House.
She was born October 26, 1937 in the coal mining town of Caretta, WV.
She retired as a CNA at Pine Lodge in Beckley WV. Dolly was a member of Packs Branch Baptist Church. She loved staying at home and being with her family.
Her favorite pastime was talking on the phone with her sister Alice. She was loved and will be missed by family and friends.
Dolly is preceded in death by her husband JC Lambert; parents, Elford and Bertha Robinson; sister Edna Lester; brothers Luther Robinson, Ernest Robinson and James Robinson; grandchild, Brent Anthony Magliano.
Those left to cherish her memory include, daughter, Sharon Magliano (John) of Florida; sons, Michael Lambert of West Virginia (who unselfishly became his mother’s caregiver, dedicating himself fully to her care and needs) and Jeffrey Lambert of Washington DC; sister Alice Pearson; brother, Monroe Robinson (Irene) of Florida; grandsons, Brandon (Meghin) Magliano and Brett (Rosie) Magliano of Florida; granddaughter, Amanda (Josh) Conner of Florida; great-grandsons, Ethan Conner, Jackson Magliano, Reed Conner, Maddox Magliano and granddaughters, Ava Conner and Payton Streeter of Florida.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Hospice of Southern WV for their compassionate care and support during our mother’s final days. Service will be held at 1:00 PM, January 8, 2025, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Beckley, with Pastor Eric Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
