WELCOME TO PACKS BRANCH BAPTIST CHURCH
February 2, 2025
ERIC DAVIS, PASTOR
It is a blessing to share this Lord’s Day with you and we are glad you chose to wor-ship with us. For those visiting, we are honored to have you. Please fill out a “Visitor’s Card” located in the pew and place it in the offering plate later in the ser-vice. If you do not have a home church, please join us tonight and this week in our services. Thank you for coming!
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine be-fore men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16

What is a Sunday School/Master Club Teacher
A studier—of the Bible, of lesson leaflets and teacher’s guides; A collector-of pictures, of objects, of stories, of any-thing that helps pupils learn; An improviser—of true-to-life applications, or attention-getting devices, or things to do in often times limited space; A listener—to the unspoken ques-tions written in the eager faces of pupils; A priest—who lays before the throne of God the needs of those in his charge; A friend—who gives of himself that others might grow in Christ.
That is a teacher. For he—or she—is doing the most im-portant, the most difficult (though most rewarding) job on earth, feeding young and old with the Word of life, that they might grow in life with God.
This, then, I will do; I will pray for the teachers of my church; I will treasure them, thank God for them. I will remember that, in doing the work of the church, they are doing my work—and God’s.
